Excursions
Our farmhouse is located in an area of great interest not only for nature lovers, but also for those who love to explore small towns, villages and cultural sites.
In addition to admiring the surrounding green landscape, rich in chestnut and beech forests, you can walk, horseback ride, or mountain bike along the many trails that crisscross it. For more trained hikers we suggest the hike to the Bisalta peaks, whose highest peak reaches 2404 meters. A short distance from our facility are numerous valleys, reachable in about half an hour: Pesio, Tanaro, Gesso, Stura, Grana, Maira, Varaita, Po, and the Monregal valleys.
For those who wish to delve deeper into the cultural aspect of the area, there are several possibilities, including visits to museums (naturalistic missionary museum of Certosa and Museum of the Resistance in Chiusa di Pesio, Museum of Sacred Art in Entracque), castles (Royal Castle of Casotto, Garessio, Royal Castle of Racconigi, Royal Castle of Guarene), and again, the town of Peveragno, the city of Cuneo with its charming Tuesday market, Turin, only an hour from our facility, or the nearby nature reserves of Ciciu dei Villar “Stone Mushrooms,” Crava and Morozzo, and Bossea Caves. And, for those who want to relax in front of the waves, Liguria, with its beautiful sea. These are just a few suggestions-our staff will be happy to provide you with all the information you need to plan unforgettable visits and excursions.
Everyone surfs for fun. Lots of people do this with friends and club members and others enjoy doing this in a competition. Competitions are run at every level, from introductory events right up to World Championships. The best thing about competitions is that you’ll see and learn from other surf kayaks and get ideas of the skills that you want to develop.
